The main aid tool for the energy renovation of housing will be suspended for a period of three months. While France lags enormously behind its objectives, the government calls for "overheating".
The Minister of Economy, Éric Lombard, suspends the MaPrimeRenov aid scheme because of "congestion and excessive fraud." But the actors of the renovation refute these arguments and denounce a chaotic management that could destroy tens of thousands of craft jobs.
Announced by the press a few days ago, the suspension of the MaPrimeRenov' renovation aid was confirmed by the Minister of Economy, who assures that he wants to return before the end of the year.

With the triple of housing renovated at the beginning of the year thanks to its subsidies, the state seemed outdated. Victim of its success, the aid scheme for energy renovation is suspended, announced this Wednesday 4 June Bercy.
"There is both a congestion at the moment and an excess of fraud (...) hence the temporary suspension of the energy renovation aid," said the Minister of Economy, Wednesday in front of the Senate.
