Houlton man jailed for allegedly stealing cigarettes

HOULTON, Maine — A Maine Smoke Shop clerk stopped a Houlton man who allegedly fled the North Road shop with four cartons of cigarettes on Monday, said Houlton Police Chief Tim DeLuca on Wednesday Ezra Brady, 34, was arrested and jailed in the Aroostook County Jail on a felony theft charge “based on prior history,” police said.
