Houlton has 60 days to remove its facial-recognition surveillance system

Houlton will remove about 50 facial-recognition cameras and delete associated data within 90 days under a settlement with residents who challenged the town's use of the technology.

The cameras will be in the possession of a yet-to-be-named third party until they can be sold or disposed of.
