Former Argentine President Cristina Fernández will face two new trials for money laundering and illegal association.
Fernández was prosecuted for the offence of money laundering and dismissed in November 2021.
The former president and her son Máximo are charged with money laundering and illegal association; one trial will begin on October 23 and the other on March 19; they are also charged Lázaro Báez and Cristóbal López
The first will begin on 23 October and the second on 19 March 2027, according to the Federal Oral Court 5. Máximo Kirchner and Cristóbal López are also accused.
Times are speeding up and in the next few days the start could be defined. It is the cause of washing that complicates the former president and her son.
The Federal Oral Court No. 5 decided to split them in order to avoid delays in the discussions and also set out the conditions under which they will be held.
