Hot air balloon makes unexpected landing in Broomfield near U.S. 287, U.S. 36

A hot air balloon made an unexpected landing Thursday morning that closed down traffic on Industrial Lane near U.S. 287, according to Broomfield police. The balloon was seen flying low to the ground before making the landing, Broomfield police Sgt. Zach O’Leary said.
