The increased wind fanned the flames again in the Hortobágy National Park, on the outskirts of Egyek on Wednesday afternoon, and seven hectares have burned so far, the disaster management agency announced on its website.
An area of reeds, shrubs and bushes on the outskirts of Egyek burned down over about fifty hectares. Firefighters extinguished the fire with four water jets and a water cannon.
