Over £100,000 raised for boy, 3, in croc attack

On June 18, a three-year-old boy was allegedly thrown into a crocodile enclosure at Johnsons in Old Hurst, Cambridgeshire. A 30-year-old man from Norfolk was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and was "assessed as not being fit for interview."

In an update shared on Wednesday, the boy's family said he is now "talking to the nurses, playing using his feet and smiling again." They remain "hopeful" the recent operation "will be the last for now" and they can soon go home.
Police launched an investigation into the care arrangements of the suspect, who reportedly has learning difficulties and was visiting the zoo with carers when the incident occurred in Huntingdonshire. Authorities continue to examine how the incident happened.
