Honeywell Technologies Reports Second Quarter Results
Revenue rose 4.3% to $9.72 billion and management lifted full-year operational guidance after stronger orders and backlog growth.
On Thursday, Honeywell Technologies reported second-quarter revenue of $9.72 billion, exceeding the LSEG-compiled consensus estimate of $9.5 billion, and raised full-year guidance across operational metrics.
CEO Vimal Kapur attributed the raised outlook to 16% organic order growth with broad-based demand across all segments, resulting in a 9% increase in ending backlog.
Building Automation sales increased more than 9.6% to $2 billion, while Industrial Automation grew 4% organically to $1.5 billion; Process Automation declined 1% organically.
Honeywell shares rose as much as 7.4% in early trading Thursday, bucking a broader market selloff as investors rewarded the revenue beat and improved guidance.
