CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a homicide in the 1100 block of Scaleybark Road, near East Woodlawn Road. It happened around 10pm Friday night. Police say when they got to the scene, a woman was found dead inside an apartment at the Charlotte Woods Apartments.
