On Sunday evening, the former Minister of Culture, who was in trouble in the NKA case, paid his respects at the mass organized for the politically persecuted at the St. Peter and Paul Church in Óbuda. When asked if it was not problematic to bring politics within the walls of the church, he said: “If you think that if someone is prayed for, it is politics, then you are seriously mistaken.”
Civilians stood up in the square in front of the main parish church in Óbuda for those detained without trial.
