Holy Door Closes As Faithful Prepare for Special 2033 Jubilee Marking Jesus’ Death and Resurrection
Marinella Bandini The Edicule of the Holy Sepulcher, which contains the venerated tomb, inside the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Although traditionally a jubilee only happens every 25 years, the Holy Door is slated to reopen for a special 2033 Jubilee when the Church will celebrate the Holy Year of the Redemption.
