German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender will visit the National Holocaust Museum, the International Criminal Court (ICC), and chip manufacturer ASML, among others, together with the King and Queen during their upcoming state visit to the Netherlands. The Government Information Service announced the full program on Wednesday. The couple will visit the Netherlands from June 9 to 11.
At the end of the three-day state visit to the Netherlands, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and King Willem-Alexander will travel to Limburg. The programme will include Vista College in Sittard and Nato Headquarters in Brunssum.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Federal President of Germany, will visit the city on June 9 together with his wife, Elke Büdenbender. He will be officially welcomed on Dam Square by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. The Royal Netherlands Air Force Orchestra will play the national anthems of both countries on Dam Square.
