Popular Portuguese resort introduces bikini ban against overly naked tourists on the streets: fines of up to 1,500 euros

Summary by Algemeen Dagblad
Before the summer holidays, Albufeira, the most popular holiday destination in the Algarve in Portugal, is introducing a ban on bikinis and swimming trunks. Not on the beach of course, but in the city. Anyone caught too naked risks a fine of up to 1500 euros. The seaside resort wants to take action against misbehaviour of holidaymakers. For example, last summer British youngsters were dancing naked on a bar during the day.
