Travelers from Germany made less multi-day trips in 2025. While domestic travel increased, foreign travel declined significantly.

In 2025, travellers from Germany undertook a total of 274 million private and business trips with at least one overnight stay at home or abroad. This reduced the total number of multi-day trips by 1.1% compared to the year 2024.
