The Swiss cement company Holcim has announced the acquisition of a 50.01% majority stake in the Peruvian company Cementos Pacasmayo for about 550 million dollars (468 million euros), in which it represents the largest acquisition in Latin America of the Swiss multinational, which expects to close the purchase in the first half of 2026.
Construction materials giant Holcim wants to take a majority stake in its Peruvian counterpart Cementos Pacasmayo, in a deal valued at $1.5 billion (1.2 billion Swiss francs).
The acquisition continues Holcim's expansion in Latin America and comes a year after its entry into Peru.
