Men’s Hockey Blanks Army 3-0, Gravel Records 39 Saves in Shutout

ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst men's hockey team hosted Army for their first home series of 2026. The score was deadlocked at zero after the first two periods. Will Schumacher opened the scoring in the middle of the third period and the Lakers fired home two more to pick up their first win of the season, 3-0. Charles-Edward Gravel had another impressive showing with 39 saves and his first career shutout.

ERIE, Pa. – Army West Point hockey (7-10-5, 2-9-3 Atlantic Hockey America) made the trip to Erie, Pa. on Friday for its first league contest of 2026 as the Black Knights took on Mercyhurst (1-17-1, 1-9-1 Atlantic Hockey America) at the Mercyhurst Ice Center.
