A couple of years ago, I became acquainted with Ms. Lou Jane Robinson Skillman during a meeting of the Hopkins County Genealogical Society. That evening, she told me about some 100-year-old sidewalk sections she’d noticed at Buford Park. That piqued my interest, and soon we met up at the News-Telegram office to talk about the stones.
