History of the parishes that began evangelization in La Laguna

TORREÓN, COAH.- The parishes Nuestra Señora del Refugio, in Matamoros, and Santiago Apostle, in Viesca, are the oldest of the Diocese of Torreón. Both play a fundamental role, since in their lands began the evangelization of an extensive territory, made up of a tenacious lay community and example of spiritual strength.
