Historic Sinking Spring freight house damaged by fire
A historic railroad freight house used by the Sinking Spring Area Historical Society was heavily damaged Thursday by fire. Crews were called to the scene off Clematis Avenue in Sinking Spring’s Heritage Park about 1:30 p.m. Paul Miller, president of the society, said he was at the scene as crews worked, but was unable to enter the building to assess any damage to the artifacts kept there.
