Historic portraits return home to Washington - Washington Daily News

The elegant portraits of Allen Grist and his wife, Mary Ann Williams Grist, have returned home to Washington. The portraits were painted around 1860 by the famous Victorian artist George Garl Browne, Jr. of New Bern.
