A collision in Prince Edward County on Sunday night shut down a portion of Highway 62 for several hours. Police have not released any details. OPP did report via social media around 9:30 p.m. that Highway 62 was fully closed between County Road 14 and Jericho Road following a collision and asked motorists to avoid the area. The road reopened around 1:30 a.m. More information is expected today.

More information is expected on Monday following a crash that closed a busy highway in Prince Edward County overnight. PEC OPP posted around 9:30 Sunday night on social media that Highway 62 was closed between County Road 14 and Jericho Road following a collision in the area.
