'Highland has become a second home:' APS high school celebrates 75th graduating class

Dozens of alumni gathered at W.L. Seaton Secondary in Vernon on Thursday, May 22, to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
The event was rescheduled from May 15 due to a police investigation of a threat later deemed not credible by RCMP.
The celebration honored William Lyle Seaton, the school's namesake, who taught locally from age 17 until 65 and contributed to education and community.

Don Seaton, Seaton's grandson, expressed pride that the school honors his grandfather’s legacy as a committed teacher and citizen in Vernon.
