Spike Lee Directs Denzel Washington in 'Highest 2 Lowest'
NEW YORK CITY, AUG 4 – Spike Lee and Denzel Washington reunite for their fifth film collaboration in a contemporary New York crime thriller inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s classic, featuring a $17.5 million ransom plot.
- Spike Lee directed the crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest starring Denzel Washington, set to hit theaters on August 15, 2025.
