The degree of disability has nothing to do with the ability to work. The right to a disability is independent of the severe disability. How is the ability to work assessed? A degree of disability of 50 does not necessarily mean that you are entitled to a disability pension. Instead, a physical examination by the social medicine is required. This determines the occupational benefit assets on the basis of which the pension insurance decides.
