Update: High wind warning issued for Oneida County until Thursday morning – winds gusting up to 60 mph

An updated high wind warning was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:08 a.m. valid from 7 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Oneida County."West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected," explains the weather service. "Highest winds will be in the early evening between 7 pm to 10 pm with the frontal passage."

A high wind warning was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 12:47 a.m. valid from 7 p.m. until Thursday 8 a.m. for Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties.The weather service comments, "West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected."
