High Volcanic Alert to V1 in the Azorian Furnas Volcano

The Centre for Information and Monitoring of the Azores (CIVISA) today raised the level of volcanic alert in the Furnas volcano to V1 (volcanic system in phase of metastable equilibrium), due to an increase in seismic activity.
