The decision was rendered on Thursday 12 February: the Nancy Administrative Court of Appeal annulled the ministerial decree of July 2024 granting Vulcan Énergie France an exclusive licence to search for geothermal gites for a period of 5 years. Also filed by Mulhouse Alsace agglomeration (M2A) and 13 communes, the appeal against the search for lithium by the same company is rejected.
