RAPIDES PARISH, La. (WNTZ) — A Hessmer man was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 71, according to Louisiana State Police. The crash claimed the life of Michael Dauzat Jr., 29, of Hessmer. LSP Troop E responded to the crash around 4:42 p.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. 71 and Bill Warner Road.
