Israel’s president, Isaac Herzog, said this Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the ayatollah regime in Iran is in a situation of structural weakness, despite maintaining tight repressive control over the population. Herzog argued that the Iranian people “deserve a change and a dignified life” and denounced the lack of international pressure against Tehran, in contrast to criticism directed against Israel.
