On Saturday, August 16, the 1920 Battle of Warsaw Museum officially opened. The museum is part of the memorial complex in Ossów, near Warsaw. It was built on the site of the battle against the Red Army advancing on the capital. The Polish victory in 1920 halted the Bolshevik advance into Poland and Western Europe.
