ST. PAUL — The 5 p.m. Tuesday candidate filing deadline passed with few surprises, and confirms that several statewide races in Minnesota will head to an Aug. 11 primary. As evidenced by the filings, endorsements from each state party did little to narrow who will be on the ballot. Candidates have until Thursday, June 5, to withdraw their names.
