Now it has been decided: Director-General Bernhard Helmich will remain at the head of the Bonn Theatre until the end of the 2029/2030 season. The City Council thus follows a recommendation of the Cultural Committee from the beginning of September.

The Council of the City of Bonn has approved, as proposed, an extension of the contract with the director general Bernhard Helmich. His intention is now definitely extended by two seasons: until 2030. Helmich has been running the Bonn Theatre since 2012.
