The Minister of State for Energy of Qatar said that his country ' s gas production was still below normal levels owing to the aftermath of the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, which expected natural production to return within weeks, and confirmed the continuation of expansion and investment plans.
Goldman Sachs warned that if LNG exports from the Persian Gulf halt, natural gas prices in Europe could climb to €105 and in Asia to $35. It stated that a shipping crisis in the Strait of Hormuz could lead to a massive loss of industrial demand and an inflation crisis in Europe.
