Heavy rains expected in Eastern and Central India as Bay of Bengal system moves in, says IMD

The IMD said that heavy to very heavy rains are likely in isolated areas of Chhattisgarh, Odisha and coastal Andhra Pradesh on Friday, September 11. Apart from these states, some other states are also likely to receive isolated heavy rains. The states where heavy rains are possible are Arunachal Pradesh, Assam Meghalaya and Sikkim in the northeast.
