CATAWBA CO., N.C. – All the heavy rain we saw earlier this week washed out part of a road in Catawba County. Part of 39th Avenue Drive Northwest remains closed while NCDOT assesses the damage. This is just north of Hickory. A detour is in place. Click here for more from WCCB Charlotte.
