The rain that hit Curitiba on the morning of Wednesday, July 29th, caused trees to fall in different parts of the city and impacted operations at Afonso Pena Airport. A total of 1,296 passengers were affected by the bad weather. One incident was recorded on Rua Almirante Tamandaré, in the Alto da XV neighborhood, where a tree fell due to the wind and rain.
