Industry Minister Sébastien Martin has announced a recast of the aid for the installation of heat pumps: those which are not produced in Europe will no longer receive certain aid.
As of September, only equipment manufactured in the European economic area will benefit from a subsidy of EUR 3 500.The remaining models will only receive EUR 700 from energy saving certificates.
From September onwards, the aid granted by the Energy Saving Certificate (EEC) mechanism will be redirected to ‘heat pumps which are produced in Europe, efficient and of good quality', explained the Ministry of Industry.
