The South Burgenland Güssing was the leader with 35.2 degrees Celsius. The highest level was measured this year with 38.3 degrees in Carinthia.

In Austria, the temperatures in many places rose above the 35-degree mark on Thursday. Güssing was the leader in the South Burgenland with 35.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Bad Deutsch-Altenburg in Lower Austria.
