‘Excruciatingly hot’: Heat wave expected to end Wednesday ahead of ‘stellar’ long weekend
The intense heat that has invaded the city for the past three days is expected to end on Wednesday, clearing the way for a “stellar” long weekend filled with sunshine and seasonable temperatures, CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter says.
Heat advisory issued for Northeast Pa. until Wednesday evening
A heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 12:41 a.m. valid from 11 a.m. until Wednesday 8 p.m. for Northern Wayne and Southern Wayne as well as Bradford, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Luzerne and Pike counties.The weather service describes, "Heat index values up to 102 degrees expected."
