Heat advisory in place for North Alabama for Sunday
On Saturday at 10:43 a.m. a heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Sunday between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. for Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall and Cullman counties.The weather service comments, "Heat index values up to 106 degrees expected."
