Heat advisory affecting 5 N.J. counties Monday and Tuesday
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory at 2:23 p.m. on Saturday valid from Monday 11 a.m. until Tuesday 8 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.“Heat index values of 100 to 105 degreesF likely on Monday, and around 105F on Tuesday,” can be expected according to the weather service. “There is potential for widespread heat indices of 105+F on Tuesday.”

On Saturday at 1:36 p.m. a heat advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from Monday 11 a.m. until Tuesday 8 p.m. for Northern Worcester and Southern Worcester as well as Franklin, Middlesex, Essex, Hampshire, Hampden, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.The weather service adds, "Heat index values between 95 and 102 degrees expected. Highest heat indicies expected on Tuesday."
