On Friday, July 11, the province announced $8.84 million in funding as part of the Affordable Housing Partnership Program for Heartland Housing Foundation's affordable housing project at 100 Fir Street in Sherwood Park.

The Heartland Housing Foundation has received a grant of $8,840,000 for a new construction on the site of the Clover Bar Lodge Site. The funding will cover approximately one third of the cost of the reconstruction, which is expected to start in June of next year assuming the rest of the funding can be secured.
