BELFIELD, N.D. — With a pair of victories on Wednesday, the Heart River Cougars baseball team improved to 11-9-1 and is plowing through the Class B, Region VIII Tournament with aplomb. The cats scratched out an 11-8, opening-round win over Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton, then went on to clip the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks’ wings 12-8 in round two. The nightcap marked the hosts’ third-straight caging of Shiloh and sets up a date with destiny again…
