On Tuesday the ORF presented the opulent stage for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. Under the motto "Golden Viennese Heart" the event will take place, but with only 35 nations – the lowest number of participants in years.
147 days before the final, the ORF presented Stage Design for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in the Wiener Stadthalle on Tuesday morning – and also asked more critical questions about the previous headlines.
Planning for the Song Contest is going on all of a sudden: after the participating countries and the acts for the domestic preliminary decision on Monday, the stage design was presented on Tuesday – a tribute to the creative spirit of the Vienna Secession. The stage is in the truest sense of the word at the heart of the vision and motto of the competition: "United by Music – in the Heart of Europe".
