Daye Gottsche and her friend helped Jake Lang, a pardoned far-right activist and January 6 Rioter, flee a crowd that was chasing him through Minneapolis. Now knowing who he is, she says she still would have helped him, though she is not sure he would do the same for her. “I feel no one deserves that type of treatment,” she said. “Like, you don’t deserve to die or be brutally beaten for your views — politically or religiously.”
