Psychotherapy Bill Suitable for Further Consideration

MPs voted 40 in favor and four against to approve the bill on psychotherapeutic activities as suitable for further consideration. Opinions on the bill, which introduces the profession of psychotherapy into the healthcare sector, differ within the parliamentary groups, with the overwhelming majority of Svoboda MPs, NSi MPs and one SD MP voting in favor.

The Ministry of Health insists on the proposal, and MPs are facing a petition and calls to stop the text, as well as an open letter asking them to vote in favor.
