The Department of Health launched a new educational campaign aimed at promoting responsible care of animals, promoting responsible adoption and strengthening community awareness of the impact of animal welfare on public health. The initiative, entitled “Find your ‘match’ and commit yourself to taking care of it”, was announced by Health Secretary Victor M. Ramos Otero as part of the efforts of the State Office for Animal Control (OECA).
