- Teenage batter Ollie Peake and all-rounder Matt Short, originally scheduled to return home after Pakistan, will now remain with the squad to provide additional depth.
- Marsh will nevertheless travel to Dhaka and continue rehabilitation with a view to returning for the subsequent T20I series, as the ODI series begins on Tuesday.
