On Saturday 18 April 2026, on the A11 motorway, a rider who was on his way to the 24 Hours Motos du Mans was intercepted by the gendarmes of Eure-et-Loir after being flashed at this dizzying speed in the middle of the day. The case was played at Morancez, near Chartres, on a busy axis. According to the military, it would be a speed record in the department over the last fifteen years, for an excess of 144 km/h above the authorized limit.
A man was flashed on Saturday 18 April at more than 250 km/h on the A11 as he left for the 24 Hours Motos du Mans. The rider set a sad speed record in the department of Eure-et-Loir.
