This weekend, the Berlin Marathon saw a surprising feat. Iskander Yadgarov, a 35-year-old Russian rider, took part in this race wearing plastic hoofs and set a new world record for the Crocs marathon. Karim Bennani talks about it. (International).
Russian Iskander Yadgarov traveled 42,195 kilometres with his unlikely yellow plastic shoes.
It made for a striking sight on Sunday during the Berlin Marathon. Among thousands of runners, Iskander Yadgarov appeared at the start line wearing a pair of bright yellow Crocs. The 35-year-old Russian not only kept them up for 42.195 kilometers, but he also finished in a remarkably sharp 2:30:03.
